RGNAU’s Eminent Speaker Series with Mr. Mark Searle, University of California Berkeley on 2nd August 2018 at Airports Authority of India, New Delhi
Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University (RGNAU) with Hypershift/ACP organized an Eminent Speaker Series “Corporate Innovation the Silicon Valley Way – Lessons for Aviation” with Mr. Mark Searle (Managing Director, Berkeley Innovation Acceleration Group), University of California Berkeley on Thursday, 2nd August 2018.
Dr. Shefali Juneja, Joint Secretary, MOCA and AVM Nalin Tandon (Retd.), Vice Chancellor – RGNAU gave the opening remarks and welcomed Mr. Mark Searle. Mr Searle is the Managing Director of the Innovation Acceleration Group at UC Berkeley Executive Education, and former Senior Fellow for Global Programs at the Haas School of Business, Lester Center for Entrepreneurship. He is also an award-winning international entrepreneur in areas such as 3D printing & rapid prototyping to enterprise software, cloud computing and consumer Internet.
This session was aimed at senior-level professionals from both the government as well as the private sector of the aviation industry, who had strategic decision-making powers in their respective organisations. There was an interactive Q&A session held and participants Asked several questions pertaining to entrepreneurship, inventions and innovations and how value drives decision making in organisations.
At the end, Mr. Sandeep Bahl, Program Director-ACP was delivered vote of thanks and appreciated cooperation between RGNAU/MOCA and ACP.
ACP will continue to bring in eminent speakers to India to increase awareness of available opportunities in India’s Aviation Sector.
